Today is the Day! Caterpillars, let's Reinvent Ourselves!

So, I had an idea to start this blog because I am always reinventing myself. But I always seem to be stuck mid-way. And as such, I consider myself a caterpillar in mid-morph.

Perhaps you feel the same way? Perhaps you've had circumstances thrown at you beyond your control. Lost a job due to downsizing? (That's me!) Recently moved? (That's me again!) Are you going back to school as an adult? (Did that.) Are you a single mom? (Me, again!) Divorced by chance or by choice? (Yup)

There are so many situations in life that cause us to have to pause and reflect and wonder, "How did I get here?" Maybe you're feeling like you're the only single mom in night school or you're the only person home at 1pm on a Tuesday looking for work.

Well, you're not alone. And you're not a loser. You're simply a caterpillar mid-morph.

On your way to something fabulous, but not quite there yet. Stuck inside the chrysalis where it's dark and you're not even able to see a future? Peeking out a bit and seeing a few scary rays of sunshine and don't know what else is on the horizon? You're welcome here.

All of us have butterfly inside us. We just may still look like caterpillars to the rest of the world. But inside, we are filled with greatness and ready to fly.
